From the airport the distance to central Athens is 30 km. The access to the hotel is very simple: 

By Bus:
There is a direct route to Syntagma Square on the X95. Don't forget to validate your ticket. From Syntagma square you have to walk down Mitropoleos Street, for few minutes. After the Cathedral you will see Plaka hotel on your left. Buses run all day and night every 20 min approx. Please mind your personal belongings at all time (very careful with your money, passport, tickets, never in your pockets).

By Metro:
From the airport you could take the metro direct line number 3 until Monastiraki Square. The train runs every 30 min. The journey is about 40 minutes. It operates from 06:35- 23:35. Don't forget to validate your ticket. 
Please mind your personal belongings at all time (very careful with your money, passport, tickets, never in your pockets). From Monastiraki Square you have to walk up Mitropoleos Street. On the second street to your right you will see the hotel.

By Taxi:
The journey takes approximately 35-45 minutes. The cost is €65 during the day and €80 at night. We recommend that you ask for a receipt and write the number of the taxi.

From the port of Piraeus there is a direct line too. You should get off at Monastiraki station. From Monastiraki Square you have to walk up Mitropoleos Street. On the second street to your right you will see the hotel. Please mind your personal belongings at all time: very careful with your money, passport, tickets, never in your pockets. 
A taxi will cost €30 during the day and €37 at night, and you can find one at the taxi rank on the dock.
